This policy describes the current version of Taskward and is not legal advice.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how B.W.K. Providence Holdings LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in the Taskward iOS app and through Taskward support. Taskward does not require or provide a Taskward account.

2. Minimum age

Taskward is intended only for people age 18 or older. Before using the app, a user must affirm that they are at least 18. Taskward stores that confirmation locally on the device and does not collect a birthdate, government identification, or age-verification document.

3. Information stored in the app

Tasks, task notes, approved checklist text, dates, reminders, Lives, outlines, progress, rewards, Momentum history, scan counts, preferences, and the 18-or-older confirmation are stored locally on the user’s device using Apple system storage. Taskward has no application backend or cloud account service.

4. Checklist images and recognition

Apple Vision processes checklist images on-device. Taskward does not upload checklist images or write them to Taskward’s persistent app storage. A source image is held temporarily in memory for recognition and review. Text approved by the user is stored locally as task content. Redundant raw OCR output is not retained in scan history.

5. Camera and photo-library access

Taskward requests camera or photo-library access only when the user chooses a checklist image. These permissions are controlled in iOS Settings. Erasing Taskward data does not revoke iOS permissions.

6. Notifications

With permission, Taskward schedules task reminders locally through Apple’s notification system. Users can change notification permission in iOS Settings. The in-app device-data erasure control requests removal of Taskward’s pending and delivered notifications.

7. Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Taskward does not include third-party analytics, advertising, cross-app tracking, remote crash-reporting, cloud AI, authentication, or social-network SDKs. Taskward does not sell user data.

8. Purchases

Apple processes Taskward Pro subscriptions and purchase history. Taskward receives verified StoreKit product and entitlement information needed to present, purchase, restore, and manage subscriptions. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s policies.

9. Support and website communications

If a user contacts [email protected], the user’s email address, message, and any information voluntarily included are processed through the applicable email provider so we can respond. Visiting this website is separate from using the local-only Taskward app and may generate ordinary hosting security and request logs.

10. Retention

Local app content remains on the device until the user edits or deletes it, uses the in-app erasure control, removes the app, or iOS otherwise removes it. Existing device backups may continue to contain prior app data according to the user’s Apple backup settings. Apple controls purchase-record retention. Support correspondence and website operational records are retained as reasonably necessary for support, security, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.

11. Erasing Taskward data

Because Taskward has no account or backend user database, there is no Taskward cloud account to delete. In the app, go to Profile → Privacy & support → Erase Taskward Data on This Device. This removes Taskward’s substantive local records, preferences—including the age confirmation—and reminders, then returns the app to onboarding. It does not remove Apple subscriptions, purchase history, iOS permissions, or existing device backups. See the Taskward data deletion notice.

12. Disclosure and legal requirements

Taskward app content is not transmitted to us. Information received through support or website operations may be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse or security incidents, or in connection with a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

13. Security

Taskward relies on Apple’s platform protections for locally stored app data. Users are responsible for securing their device and Apple account. No storage or communications system can guarantee absolute security.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Taskward changes. The effective and last-updated dates will identify revisions. Material changes will be communicated where required.
